Now Marc, I'm not going to brag too much, because I DID expect the Colts to win. But, our bet for bragging rights was that the Saints would cover, and they did that and then some. So.....

BRAG!

Also, you were incredibly close on the final score. (In reverse order.) And while I can't seem to find where my pick was, I'm pretty sure I got New Orleans' score right. So, between the two of us...

I'm not sure that I even got a chance to make a pick. I am surprised that the Saints won and I was surprised that they held the Colts to 17 points. When you look at it, it probably should not have been a surprise that the game wasn't 41-38, because with two teams like this the defenses are going to play back and let them complete short passes.

Hey crash that was nice. Yeah I was totally off, New Orleans defense surprised me and the Colts offense a bit. Once again ironically the Saints were out-gained by more than 100 yards and still won. That onside kick was huge, that was more of the turning point in the game than the pick six.

Yeah, I was way off too, just had a little bit of that favorable deviation. If the Colts won by three, I'd still be shouting about how smart I am. I agree the Onsides kick (which, by the way, I've never seen two teams fight for the ball harder than that) was more of a turning point, but that pick 6 sealed the deal. Just before that happened, it looked like it was going to be a tie game, and then who knows?

Yeah that pick six did seal it and if you look close on that play if he would have pump faked and Reggie Wayne went out and broke off of the route they would have scored a touchdown because everyone else was blitzing and the back of the secondary was unguarded. The fight for the ball during the onside kick was price it shows that sometimes the game is truly more important than the money to these guys.
