Pitching for the Minnesota Twins today, Fransico Liriano looked like his old self. Liriano pitched 7 shut out innings with eight strikeouts. I'm liking Liriano so far. I do hope he can keep this up and continue like he's capable of. But it appears the Twins are doing pretty well for themselves already this year. I wonder if that Mauer deal got everybody out there in MN motivated to earn their own contract. The Twins better start clicking with a second team within reach in Chicago. The pitching has been shaky after Pavano and Liriano. Slowey, Baker, and Blackburn have been two faced throughout the season. The offense hasn't produced at the rate to get away with such shaky pitching.
