They're not eliminated yet, but it looks like the Grizzlies great season will fall short of the playoffs. It started rocky with the Allen Iverson saga, but they made great strides this season. The first issue is that they may lose Rudy Gay. One would think that because the Grizzles are a young and upcoming team that they could survive it, but Gay is the kind of piece that they need while they mature as a team. They brought back Rudy Gay, but I don't think he's the go-to guy. He's a very nice complimentary peice, but not the piece.
