To Runstopper, I think that if the Kings thought he was a 2g they wouldn't have drafted him since they already have Kevin Martin. And if you say well they were just taking the BPA, then I have the fact that Beno Udrih was the staring pg for a year and a half, and even when K Mart got injured they kept Reke at PG instead of moving him to shooting guard and bringing Beno in at the one. That shows me that the Kings are comfortable and excited about going forward with Reke at the point.

To Marc, I truly don't agree with about half your list. A few that jump out at me are Ellis and Stuckey. You were all over Reke for his bad assist/turnover ratio but Ellis has a worse ratio. And you knocked Reke for his low number of assists but Stuckey averages less. Also, you claim that you have to be pass first to play pg but guys like Gilbert and Davis are more shoot first than Reke. Finally, Jason Kidd? Really? Kidd has dropped off tremendously and Reke is a better pg than him as of now.
I really hope that you watch Reke play because you will be amazed how he can single handedly change games, you are really underestimating him.

Hey Gewh one thing about hometown fans they aren't completely fair and objective all of the time. That is why you are so high on Evans. If you weren't a Kings fan would you feel so strong about his play, grant it he is playing exceptionally well, but I beleive in a thing called experience and no matter how talented you are if you don't have it then others will be better. That's why I take guys like Kidd and Davis, even Ellis. If we are talking pure talent then yeah I will agree with Evans being better than a few of the guys I named but we are talking better overall point guard and when it comes to that the kids got a lot to go through and learn. Think about it.

He just seems to be an Allen Iverson like player, which isn't a bad thing. He's just not a true point guard. As far as I have seen, I have not been able to watch many Kings games. I'm willing to change my view though if convinced. I just haven't seen anything to do so.

I wouldn't say exactly Iverson but I see what you mean runstopper and that is what I was trying to tell Gweh. Evans isn't a true point guard and won't ever be one. He is a great talent but not a great point guard. He will have a much better career if he plays the two for the majority if not all of his career.

Well I still believe Tyreke can be a great PG. I'm not saying that if the Kings can bring in another pg that Tyreke won't be moved to the two. What I am trying to say is that they don't need to bring in a pg because Reke can handle it, but if they bring in someone who can better the team then Reke can move to the two. This is just another example of why Reke is so great and valuable, because he can play multiple positions.

I look at him in the same way as LeBron. Both guys can score with ease along with being able to get others involved. I don't see Evans as a pure point guard, but having the ability to find teammates is a great asset for a shooting guard and will bode well for the team's success. If they can get someone that isn't a liabilty at point guard, this team will make strides. Then Evans can do what he does best which is scoring and play point guard if necessary.
